1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any services provided by micronode ("we," "us," or "our") at micronode.ca, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.

2. Services

micronode provides game server hosting and related services. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Ensuring your contact information is accurate and up to date
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized account access

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services to:

  • Host, distribute, or transmit illegal content of any kind
  • Launch denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks or any form of network abuse
  • Mine cryptocurrency or run unauthorized scripts that abuse server resources
  • Violate the intellectual property rights of others
  • Spam, phish, or engage in any fraudulent activity
  • Resell or sublicense our services without prior written permission

Violation of this policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

5. Payment

All services are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Payments are processed securely through Stripe and PayPal. By providing payment information, you authorize micronode to charge the applicable fees. Failure to pay may result in service suspension. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

6. Service Availability

We strive for maximum uptime but do not guarantee 100% availability. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses caused by service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

7. Termination

You may cancel your service at any time through your client portal. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service without prior notice. Upon termination, your data may be deleted. It is your responsibility to back up any important data.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, micronode shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunities arising from your use of our services.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes.

1. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

micronode offers a 7-day money-back guarantee on first-time purchases. If you are not satisfied with your service, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial payment.

This guarantee applies to your first invoice only. Renewal payments, upgrades, and additional services purchased after the initial order are not eligible for refunds.

2. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us at [email protected] or through our support page within 7 days of your initial purchase. Please include your account email and order number. We will process eligible refunds within 5–10 business days to your original payment method via Stripe or PayPal.

3. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

  • Requests made after the 7-day window has passed
  • Renewal or recurring payments
  • Accounts suspended or terminated due to violations of our Terms of Service
  • Services that have been actively abused or used to violate our Acceptable Use Policy
  • Add-on services or one-time purchases outside of the initial server order

4. Renewals

All services renew automatically on their billing cycle. It is your responsibility to cancel before your renewal date if you do not wish to continue. Renewal charges are non-refundable. We send renewal reminder emails in advance — please ensure your contact email is up to date in your client portal.

5. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or payment provider without first contacting us, your account may be suspended immediately pending resolution. We encourage you to reach out to us directly to resolve any billing disputes — we are happy to help.

6. Exceptions

In exceptional circumstances such as extended service outages caused by micronode, we may offer pro-rated credits or refunds at our discretion. These will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
